Keys to Arizona State Sun Devils vs. Missouri Tigers

The Tigers have three new starters in their secondary. Look for ASU to test their secondary all game.

Missouri has a good-great defensive line. ASU has a veteran offensive line. This should make for a great matchup. The Tigers defensive front will have to make plays to slow down ASU’s offense.

Notes to the game:
ASU has not beaten a ranked team since 2007.
Missouri has not lost to a non-conference team since 2005; 22 straight games.
Missouri played Iowa in the Insight Bowl at Sun Devil Stadium in January losing 24-21.
Missouri has six players out against ASU.
ASU lineman Aderious Simmons is out against the Tigers.
ASU OG Adam Tello should be cleared for the game.

Outcome of the Game

Arizona State is a 7.5 favorite against the visiting Tigers. If ASU can get their running game going this will be a long game for the Tigers in the Arizona heat. Should ASU jump out to an early lead Missouri will have a tough time getting back into the game against ASU’s defense.

Look for ASU to take shots down the field when their running attack is slow at the start of the game. By the end of the game ASU should be in control.

Final score:
ASU 31 – Missouri 10
