Bobby Petrino's Son Arrested for DUI

Can’t Suspend Him, Better Ground Him

Arkansas Razorbacks head coach Bobby Petrino has another disciplinary problem on his hands. Less than a week after kicking possible starting tackle Anthony Oden off the team for a DUI and possession of a controlled substance, Petrino’s 23 year old son, Dominic, has been arrested in Huntingburg, Indiana.

Dominic was arrested early Monday morning for driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, illegal possession of prescription drugs, and possession of paraphernalia. Blood test showed there were amounts of marijuana and prescription opiates in his blood system.

Huntingburg, Indiana is a small town of about 6,000 people located in southwest Indiana. The closest major city is Louisville, Kentucky. Huntingburg is the location where the hit movies A League of Their Own and Hard Rain were filmed.

Just to Clarify

Petrino can’t be held responsible for what his 23 year old son does but this has to be a big black eye for Petrino and his staff on the recruiting trail. When selling the “family” atmosphere of a school and letting parents know “I will take care of your child” this will be brought up over and over again by parents and schools recruiting against Arkansas
